Campout Details

Any Parks & Recreation professional is welcome to attend this event as an individual or with their family.  Everyone planning to attend MUST sign up in advance as space is limited to 50 adults and we need to know who will be attending in advance.  Consider registering your campsite reservation!

• Check in time is no earlier than 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 17th, but feel free to arrive anytime after 2:00pm. 
• Check out of the campsites is no later than 1:00pm on Friday. There is paid parking at the beach if you want to enjoy an afternoon going for a ride on the greenway or hanging by the water. 
• You must bring all your own camping supplies. No camping supplies will be provided by the VRPA. 
• Be sure to stop by the office to get a car pass upon arrival.  We will only be able to park a couple cars at the group camping site, so everyone must plan to pay for parking in the main parking lot after unpacking their campsite supplies. 
• Bring your own snacks and beverages. No glass or kegs are allowed. 
• Children are allowed, but all children under the age of 10 must have an adult with them at all times. 
• Dogs are allowed on the grassy area at North Beach, but not on the beach.  You must clean up after your dog. 
• Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas in the parking only. No tobacco, marijuana, or illegal dugs are allowed. 
• All campers must acknowledge reading and accepting the North Beach Rental Contract as part of registering to attend this event. 
• Paid parking is available for anyone interested in staying Friday afternoon at the beach or for going fora ride on the Greenway.
