Vermont Conference on Recreation
From its beginning in 1943, the Vermont Conference on Recreation (formerly The Governor's Conference on Recreation) has been designed to bring together Vermonters who share an interest in parks, recreation, trails, open space and leisure opportunities. Seventy Five years later, we invite our colleagues from throughout New England and beyond to join us. Each year, the Conference Committee strives to plan a schedule of educational programs of interest to the diverse group of professionals, board & commission members, volunteers, students & other interested citizens who come to gain new knowledge & skills. The Exhibit Hall has grown to host as many as forty five exhibitors, providing a great chance to meet face-to-face with a variety of recreation product suppliers. The Vermont Conference is a great networking opportunity for students, volunteers, professionals and commercial vendors. The two day event includes 20+ educational sessions to choose from, often times a nationally recognized keynote speaker and a "Best of Vermont" Silent Auction that boasts 200+ items.
The 81st Annual Vermont Conference on Recreation is scheduled for Wednesday & Thursday, September 25th & 26th, 2024 at the Killington Grand Hotel in Killington, VT! We look forward to seeing everyone in person again soon!

Northern New England Recreation and Park Conference
Join fellow Park & Recreation Professionals from the New England area for the Annual Northern New England Recreation & Park Conference scheduled in early January. The conference is held at the Attitash Grand Summit in New Hampshire. This is one of the greatest values for your continuing education budget line.
